Tip 02:   Customizing Your Daily Picks

In your Daily Pick-3/4 program, you can adjust the picks according to the 'Cost per Jackpot' summary on your screen.  The Daily odds are roughly 2 to 1 against you to start with.  You want to get the cost down to a 'even money' level, and make it less than the prize money.  Use your 'Preview Automatic Picks' selection to customize your number picks for the next draw.

Example

Suppose your Pick-3 game pays $500 for a Straight Jackpot win.  You want to customize your 'Cost per Jackpot' summary so that the cost averages less than that amount.

The 'Cost per Jackpot' summary gives you two costs:  before and after filtering.  Customize it so that either cost is below the prize amount, and fits within your playing budget for the game.

The summary is based on the average Cost per Straight Jackpot over the past 100 draws.  You can step through the past draws (use your mouse, or your PageDown key).  Check the Cost per Jackpot at various parts of your game's history, and see how consistent it has been.

Screen Samples

The two screen samples below show how Pick-3 numbers were customized and played over the past 100 draws.  Note that only 32 of the 100 draws were playable during that time.  A total of 160 tickets were played, and one Straight Jackpot was matched.

Remember, when you use the tightest settings you will not have a play for every draw -- so, save your money until it's needed.
